Melbourne, Australia. 24 April 2015. A sea of handmade red poppies in Federation Square ahead of ANZAC Day centenary commemorations on 25 April. Two years ago, Lynn Berry and Margaret Knight started a community-based project to encourage people to 5000 crochet poppies to mark the centenary of the Gallipoli landings. An estimated 50,000 contributors made 250,000 poppies and are currently in Federation Square before being moved onto the Princes Bridge for Anzac Day. Credit: Kerin Forstmanis/Alamy Live News
