Squadron 5 (SQ 5). The bald eagle represents the MarineLiegbrevet, the Jacobsstaf the observer's license. Squadron 5 was intended for training naval crew for various tasks at the Marine Aviation Service. It was formed on 7 May 1951 with equipment of Squadron 320, of which the staff would leave to America before taking over new aircraft. Squadron 5 was hedged on 1 March 1974. Emblem spell: Amat Victoria Curam (to overcome should be efforted).
