PACIFIC OCEAN (May 17, 2017) An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the “Bounty Hunters” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 2 makes an arrested landing on the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) in the western Pacific. The Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia-Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
