LOS ANGELES (May 21, 2018) Former Specialist Seaman 2nd Class Rosalind J. Henneman speaks to friends and family during a ceremony at her home about her service during World War II. Henneman served in the Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES), and trained numerous Navy pilots on the proper use of highly specialized equipment as a link trainer operator and flight instrument instructor.
