Carnations are his specialty. Those doing particularly v/ell novp are Ward, Matchless, Pink Delight and Benora. Alice blooms abundantly and early, with somewhat shorter stems than Pink Delight. Other favorites with him are Pink Delight, White En- chantress and Beacon. Henry E. Comley, on Park street, uses sprays of Celastrus scandens, vrith its bright-colored fruit, in his windows to good advantage. I also noted here some fine nerines, bouvardias and strelitzias. J. T. Butterworth, of South Fram- ingham, has been fifty years in the busi- ness this week.
