The Rev. John Prince, of the First Cliiu-ch of Salem, preached a sermonbefore the North Church Society, Oct. 16, 1814, on the occasion of death. There is a wax profile of Dr. Barnard at the Essex Institute, and asimilar one is owned by J. Orne Green, ]\[.D. [10. VIII. 118]. Dr. Barnards house, a heliotype of which is also given, was built byJudge Timothy Lindall, in 1740, and was once occupied by the Kingscollector.
