Recovering forest after fire near Lake Echo, Nova Scotia, Canada. Only three weeks after the disaster, the shoots of Bracken Fern can be seen everywhere on the area of around 30 square kilometers of forest that was distroyed during the forest fire between 13-17 June 2008. Around 4000 residents were evacuated. Only two homes were distroyed and no one got seriously injured.
