Pennisetum (Fountain Grass) The Pennisetums are the most effective plants to use in con- nection with Cannas where a border plant to sucn beds is desired. Plants ready May 1st. Tender ornamental Grasses, valuable either as individual specimens in the garden or for massing, while as border plants for beds of Cannas or Caladiums nothing equals them. Macrophyllum Atrosanguineum (Crimson Fountain Grass).
