Protesters are seen holding placards during the first ever Earth Strike in Warsaw and all around the country. In Warsaw hundreds of people protested outside the parliament. It is an initiative of the Earth Strike movement, which aims to protect our planet from disaster. Today's protest was the first out of four planned, the next are scheduled for April, August and September. The purpose of the events is to increase awareness of the impending climate disaster and to exert pressure on politicians and corporations that continue to ignore such important problems as the climate change.
