The housecontained two stories and was situatedin a field along a road, and about onehundred yards from a farm old building was surrounded by afew apple and cherry trees. My frienddiscovered the nest by looking up thechimney from an old fire place on thefirst floor. He climbed to the roof ofthe cabin and^ on looking down thechimney, saw one egg in the nest.
