C, 2d Delaware Volunteers, was wounded atthe battle of Fredericksburg, December i4th, 1862, by a conoidal musketball, which entered the upper part of the right thigh in front and passedout at the nates, having, in its course, divided the femoral artery and per-forated the great trochaiiter. Except that the primary haemorrhage wasslight, little is known of the early history of the case. On December 25th,the wounded man was conveyed to Washington, and placed in the DouglasHospital.
