A tree bent by the wind with blue summer skies behind at Santa Agueda Menorca Spain

Menorca's third highest hill is Santa Agueda and was once the islands most important fortress. Built by the romans and then strengthened by the Moors the summit was the last Muslim stronghold to resist the Catalan conquest of 1287. There is not much left to suggest it's past significance although a near intact Roman road takes the walker up to the summit.
