King William-Alexander of The Netherlands, officially opened ‘TeamNL Olympic Festival’ this morning on the Dutch beach resort of Scheveningen. The resort will be the dedicated venue for the Tokyo Olympics for the next three weeks. The competition can be viewed live and tributes from Olympic medalists took place on the festival grounds. Outside the festival site and on the beach, there is also “Tokyo in Town”, where various free sports activities are organized in The Hague. The festival will take place until August 8th 2021.
