A group of fire dancers perform on a sandy part of a lagoon, on Koh Chang Island. Fire shows also called fire dance are deeply rooted in Thai culture and has its origins in ancient rituals and traditions. The art of fire dancing was once exclusive to temples and religious ceremonies but, over time, fire dancing has evolved into a form of entertainment, captivating locals and tourists alike.
