Work underaway on the construction of a glass atrium at the Grand Arcade development in Cambridge England
The Grand Arcade is a city centre site behind St Andrew's Street which will include over 50 shops, cafes and restaurants. Work began on the site in January 2005 and he first department store opened in Autumn 2007, with the remainder of the shops opening in Spring 2008. The development also includes a new car park and magistrates court. Construction is being led by Bovis Lend Lease.
