According to Norse mythology, Gna and Fulla attended Frigg, patron of motherhood and wife of the powerful god Odin.

According to Norse mythology, Gna was Frigg's messenger and a wind goddess, who rides though the sky on her horse named Hofvarpnir ("Hoof Thrower"). Like Gna, Fulla also attended Frigg, who was her sister. Fulla represented the earth, sexuality, and fate. She was believed to carry a chest with life and death and also the footwear of Frigg. She wore her long hair tied with a golden band. Frigg was the second wife powerful god Odin and one of the chief goddesses. She was honored as the patron of motherhood and marriage and the goddess of love and fertility. This 1905 illustration shows the three goddesses.
