A combination flintlock pistol-hunting sabre, Southern Germany, 1st half of the 18th century Slightly curved blade with a double-edged point, etched in the upper third and inscribed "Soli Deo Gloria" along with a leaping stag on the obverse side. A detachable flintlock pocket pistol (Terzerol) is mounted on the reverse side. It has a two-stage brass barrel, octagonal breech section, then round after a baluster.
