Satpara Lake, Skardu, Pakistan - October 2, 2016: Satpara Lake is a natural lake near Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, which supplies water to Skardu Valley. It is fed by the Satpara Stream. It is situated at an elevation of 2,636 meters above sea level and is spread over an area of km². In the photo the submerged sign of a former motel operated by the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation is visible. The lake expanded after the completion of a dam downstream resulting in the drowning of the motel.
