THE LIFE AND WORK EDWARD G MALINDINE, PHOTOJOURNALIST AND OFFICIAL ARMY PHOTOGRAPHER 1906 - 1970 - Official photographers Lt Edward G Malindine and Lt Leslie Davies watch for enemy aircraft near the War Office Directorate of Public Relations Headquarters in Arras, shortly after deploying to France in March 1940. Davies later served in North Africa with No 1 Section Army Film and Photographic Unit. He died in December 1941when the ship on which he was sailing from Tobruk to Alexandria was torpedoed and sunk British Army, Army Film and Photographic Unit
