EAKLY BASEBALL. Tomato, Childs' Early Baseball, In many ways this is about as fine a vegetable novelty as we ever introduced, not excepting the Everlasting Cu- cumber: Half Century and Crisphead Lettuce* Rosy Nug- get Watermeion-and Long Podded Lima. We will not say it is the earliest of all Tomatoes, but it is as early as any and very much earlier than any other large first-eiass sort. Unlike other early Tomatoes Baseball is not small but extra large; oue of the very largest, and by all odds the smoothest, heaviest, and most solid variety in cultivation. It has very little seed cavity but has solid flesh pulp, tender, and free from all trace of coarseness or green core. It is a rich crim- son color throughout and of unsurpassed quality. By all odds the Tomato for both the home garden and the market gardener. 15c. per pkt.; 3 pkts., for 30c; oz., 50c Turnip, QveaiD TaPkard- This new turnip came from Sweden and we grew our first crop of it this year. We are more than pleased with it. It is somewhat the shape of a Stump-rooted Carrot. 3 inches thick at the top, and a foot long, about one-half this length is above ground and light green in color, Below ground is a light creamy yellow. When cooked it is a light cream color, very tender and delicate in flavor, just the quality of a very fine early flat turnip when at its best. We are very much pleased with it and recommend it highly. Pkt., loc; oz., 40c Wonder Forage piaqt. Most productive hay or fodder plant known. Grows 12 to 14 ft. high and ripens a heavy crop of seed in 100 days from sowing. It can be mown down when it reaches 5 or 6 feet for hay* and will grow up again so quickly that 3 to 5 mow- ings are se
