Sir Anthony was created a Baronet in 1846, with limitation, failing his own issue, to the sons of his elder brother, Baron Lionel Nathan de Rothschild, and the title consequently passes to his nephew, now Sir Nathan Meyer de Rothschild, for Aylesbury'.
