YOKOSUKA, Japan (January 30, 2018) Machinist's Mate (Auxiliaries) Fireman Jacob Deppe, a graduate of Pecatonica High School in Pecatonica, Illinois, assigned to the Los Angeles-class submarine USS Cheyenne (SSN 773), poses for a portrait on the pier at Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. “I joined the Navy to gain experience that most people don't have and to see the world,” said Deppe. “My best experience aboard the ship has been the Sasebo port visit.”
