Princess styles, so wonderfully popular forevery sort of dress this autumn, have invadedthe ranks of wrappers and lounging robes withthe prettiest imaginable results. Instead ofloose, full things, perhaps tied with a broadribbon into a faint semblance of shapeliness,tucks or row after row of guaging, arrangedsomething in the form of a deep girdle, definethe waist. Sometimes a ribbon is used togather the fulness in still more closely, but itis unnecessary except, perhaps, as an addedbit of beauty. Every soft, lightweight material under thesun is impressed into service for these princessrobes; the most satisfactory from a practicalpoint of view, being French flannel, not toolight in colour for service, nor so dark as tobe prosaic.
