Viktoria-Luise-Platz is a hexagonal garden square designed by Fritz Encke in1910 in Schöneberg, Berlin. The middle of the square has a fountain that is circled by a path. The design includes lawn, ornamental beds and formal topiary bushes. A monumental colonnade (designed by city construction inspector Jaffe) is situated at one end with a fountain at each end and a semi-circular seat. The stone entrance to the underground station is situated at the opposing end. The square is bordered by a double-row of Lime trees interspersed with numerous benches. The Square is surrounded by elegant residential buildings. It is named after Princess Viktoria Luise of Prussia 1892 - 1980, the daughter of Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany, and Great-Grand daughter of Queen Victoria.
