Aberdeen Harbour lies in one of the older parts of Hong Kong. It is the traditional home of Hong Kong's fishing fleet, as well as previously being home to thousands of people who lived on their junks. Nowadays, there are few permanent residents and fishing boats, with increasing amounts of space being given over to large, modern, expensive motor yachts - a reflection of Hong Kong's demonstrable wealth.
