Cambridge University Boat Club boat naming ceremony during Tideway Week - the lead-up to the Universities Boat Race on Sunday 6 April 2014. CUMC’s new 2014 Blue boat has been named in memory of CUBC member and Old Blue Toby Wallace. On 2 July 2013 Toby, at the age of 36, was killed when struck by a lorry during a charity bicycle ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats. During 2012 he had rowed the Atlantic on behalf of charity.
