Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 453, 4th Marine Logistics Group, launched an improvised drone for its maiden flight at an innovation cell located within their Home Training Center in San Jose, Calif., Feb. 9, 2019. With the use of drone technology rapidly expanding, these Marines took it upon themselves to create one of their own drones using repurposed materials and parts produced by a three dimensional printer.
