The COVID inquiry in 2023 heard evidence about Boris Johnson's attitude to older people when making crunch decisions over lockdown. The Ex-PM was said to believe that Covid was "nature's way of dealing with old people" and became "obsessed" with the elderly 'accepting their fate'.
