The Sparrowhawk has caught the pigeon by the side of a road and it is is being eaten alive as flesh is plucked from the neck area. The Sparrowhawk is pinning the pigeon down whilst it eats it. Occasionally the pigeon makes an attempt to escape its captor, but finally dies when the Hawk has had her fill.
