220809-N-XK047-2022 PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 9, 2022) – Sailors and Marines, assigned to 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), participate in karaoke night hosted by the Gay, Lesbian and Supportive Sailors (GLASS) association aboard amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8), Aug. 9. GLASS encourages service members to rededicate themselves to equality, dignity and respect for one another. Makin Island, flagship of Amphibious Squadron (CPR) SEVEN, along with 13th MEU, is currently underway conducting integrated training in the 3rd fleet to prepare for an upcoming deployment.
