They attract notice from every one. The power plant at the Exposition occupies the south side ofMachinery Hall and includes the most gigantic force ever accu-mulated in one place for any purpose. It drives two 10,000 light, Westinghouse same manufacturers show several other engine plants, includ-ing those that drive the cars of the Intramural Railway, a saw-millplant and a flour-mill plant. There are six other engines of verylarge capacity, a Fraser and Chalmers triple expansion, two West- inghouse-C h u r c h-Kerr compound en-gines, a Buckeyetriple expansion, anAtlas compound anda Mackintosh-S e y-mour double-tandemcompound. Theothers included inthe display measurefrom one hundredand fifty to six hun-dred and fifty horse-power each, whilethose just named areall of 1,000 horse-power each. Among these other exhibitors of engines are theBall & Wood Co. of New York, the Erie City Iron Works of Penn-sylvania and the Sioux City Engine Co. of Sioux City, Iowa. Thetotal horse
