The light house at Hammeren. Bornholm. Denmark.

The light house at Hammeren. Bornholm. Denmark. Hammer Light House was constructed in 1872. The saying goes that Hammer Light House actually, as it stands on the top of Hammer Rock, was too high: That it with its 91 meter was above sea level and could not bee seen by the sailors in foggy weather. Therefore the nearby Hammerodde Light House was constructed in 1895. However Hammerodde Light House did not substitute the first one and the two light houses was in use for the next 100 years. So all though the story is good it is probably not true.
