Flooded and potholed country lane in Radley village - twilight, after rain 2
One of the problems with living in a quaint, scenic village in rural Oxfordshire is poor infrastructure. Some of our roads, for instance are in a desperate state of maintenance at the moment. Here we see a pitted, potholed and worn country lane in Lower Radley - the part of the village close to the Thames, where the rich folk live. In a multi-coloured twilight, just before winter sunrise, the holes are filled with water from an overnight storm, and it all looks lovely. The holes are still murder on cars,
