Having for some time been impressedwith the great desirability of having a re-frigerator, which, on account of properventilation and at the same time economicalin the use of ice, I might be able to com-mend, I willingly consented to act with A. Armstrong, Assistant Provincial Secre-tary of Ontario, for the purpose of judgingthe merits of the Barnet Refrigerator. We were first shown the empty refrig-erators at the National Exhibition, Toronto,and allowed to designate any of our sel-ection for the test.
