EMPORIA KANSAS, JANUARY 27, 2022 United States Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS) was the featured speaker at today’s Flint Hills Optimist Club weekly luncheon at the Emporia State Memorial Union. During his speech he spoke about various issues including the lack of cabbage at some the area grocery stores due to supply chain problems, and he addressed some issues about Veterans Affairs hospitals opening up beds to non-military persons as part of expanding medical care during the COVID-19 pandemic
