April 2011, London, Ontario, Canada. Pictures from the first semi-final between Team USA and Team Norway at the 2011 World Sledge Hockey Challenge. In an upset Norway defeated the United States 5-4 in the dying seconds of the third period. Sledge Hockey is played in countries around the world and is part of the Special Olympics for physically and mentally disabled athletes. Teams receive funding from their National Hockey associations and are part of the International Ice Hockey Federation.
