It is famed for its Renaissence City Hall which dates from 1608, Its famous Spitzhauschen (the pointed house) which dates from 1416 seen in this picture, the doctor fountain, the church of St Michael 1177, the ruin of the castle at landshut, and the St Niklaus hospital with its famous library. That is not to mention its famous Viticulture of which there are 17 different types ofwine the most famous being Berncasteler Doktor.
