Construction of hunting lock 'Mookerheide' with the view tower, on the estate of the same name, built by order of Jan Jacob Luden to a design by Oscar and Henri Leeuw in the years 1902-1905 in the style of Art Nouveau. Luden sold it to the Lord in 1910, who built the greenhouses. In 1928 it became empty and after a short -term use by the Germans in the war in 1947, the Sisters Dominicanessen of Bethania bought the estate to establish an observation house for girls. In 1987 Natuurmonumenten bought the estate and the Hunting Lock Hotel Restaurant
