180314-N-OI558-2509 DOHA, Qatar (Mar. 11, 2018) the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sampson (DDG 102) hosts a reception aboard their flight deck during the Doha International Maritime Defense Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX). Sampson is deployed with the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group to the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime operations to reassure allies and partners and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
