(fig. gb) is very distinctly serrated, the oval neural plates are clearly visible ;both characteristics are more strongly marked in the youngest spécimen of 55 mm. length (fig. ga).The head is large and broad, the snout ends in a fieshy thick proboscis, which isbent downwards, the nostrils are situated superiorly.
