Master musician Man Men teaches a student .classical wedding music on her Chapei Dang Weng. A Cambodian long-necked Men is reviving this extremely rare form of wedding music, a traditional instrumental grouping that had not been heard widely in Cambodia for generations. Man Men and his band and students perform at weddings and ceremonies, as well as at hotels in the Siem Reap area. ..Cambodian Living Arts works to support the revival of traditional Khmer performing arts and to inspire contemporary artistic expression. CLA supports arts education, mentorship, networking opportunities, education, career development, and income generating projects for master performing artists who survived the Khmer Rouge as well as the next generation of student artists.
