St Leonards Parish Church in Middleton Manchester is a grade 1 listed building. There has been a church on the site since around 800AD with the present church largely dating from the 1400's. The BBC claims that St Leonards has a strong claim to being the oldest continuously inhabited building in the Manchester region.
