The Beguine Bridge in the northern Dutch city of Haarlem is a bridge over the Bakenessergracht. The bridge is located about halfway down the canal near the courthouse of Bakenes. The famous neighborhood of Harlem in New York city started as a city; Nieuw-Haarlem (New Harlem). Named after the Dutch city of Haarlem.
