The tour leader and a client plant Tree Daisy, a native species, on Mou Waho Island, an island in Lake Wanaka, South Island, New Zealand. The company, Eco Wanaka Adventures, have been taking groups of tourists to the island for years. As part of their committment to the ecology of Mou Waho they plant a native species on every visit. DOC (Department of Conservation) have the island in their care. It is now free of invasive species rats, weasels and stoats and process is well underway to repopulate the island with native species of plants. The seedlings are all sourced from approved nurseries, specialising in New Zraland Native Species
