Glass ribbed bowl, Early Imperial, late 1st century –mid 1st century , Roman, Glass; cast, tooled, and cut, Overall: 1 5/8 x 5 1/16in. ( x ), Glass, Translucent light yellow green. Plain but slightly uneven, rounded rim; sides tapering downwards, then curving in to slightly pushed-in, uneven bottom. On interior, horizontal wheel-cut grooves, comprising a single broader groove below rim and a band of two narrower grooves around lower body; on exterior, thirty-six ribs, irregularly spaced and of differing length and thickness, tapering towards bottom, almost touching at center
