OCEAN (July 20, 2017) Seaman Tiara Pineda, from Kearny, sews rank insignia onto a dress uniform in the canvas and bunting shop aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is deployed in the 7th Fleet area of operations. The Navy has patrolled the Indo-Asia Pacific routinely for more than 70 years promoting regional peace and security.
