A Silesian wheellock petronel, circa 1630 Smooth two-stage barrel in 13 mm calibre, octagonal then round, with iron front sight and brass rear sight. At the breech a silver-filled mark "HS" above heart (Stöckel no. 3112). Smooth wheellock with mark on the inside "MS" (Stöckel no. 4044). Walnut full stock, lavishly inlaid with bone and engraved mother-of-pearl, with bone nose. On the cheek engraved St. George with the dragon, the side opposite the lock with Nereid playing the lute, the patch-box with an engraved elephant and a winged monster.
