Noone has any room for truth. Every fellow is chock-full ofhis own opinions. One says, It is my opinion that thereis no harm in a social game of cards, if you do not will say, It is my opinion there is no harm ingoing to the theatre. Anotherwill say, It is my opinion I canlive out of the church and bejust as good as I can be in thechurch. I assert that no manhas a right to an opinion on amoral question. The only wayto tell whether a man is crook- The Bible StraiQht-Edge or straight, is to put the straight edge to him. Itis no use standing up like a fool and guessing whether. 50 Grace and Salvation, he is crooked or straight. Here is the straight-edge[pointing to the Bible]. I dont say a man has not aright to his opinions on doctrinal questions, but the constantiteration of It is my opinion/ by professing Christians,is crushing the life out of the Church and damning theworld. THE WHISKY DRINKERS. I can sort of put up with a fellow who drinks whisky, ifhe hangs his head down like a dog; but when he holds hishead up and says he likes to drink it, I have a contempt forhim. I can put up with a Methodist who goes to the the-ater, if he wears a hang-dog look; but if he gets up andargues for it, I would not wipe my feet on him.
