Dragonflies are excellent predators. In this image, a larger species known as "Decorative Tiger" or "Ictinoghompus decoratus" has grabbed a smaller Neurothemis species and has chewed off and consumed its top half (head and thorax). A rare memorable scene of insect cannibalism!
