Beinn na Caillich cairns, Isle of Skye, Scotland, UK: looking NNE over small settings of boulders within an arc of slabs (possibly a kerb) to the rear
Beinn na Caillich cairns, Isle of Skye, Scotland, UK: looking NNE over a small circle of boulders with a horseshoe-shaped setting within an arc of slabs to the rear. The arc may be the W part of a circular kerbed cairn or setting 30ft across. The boulder circle is also within a concentric setting. Possibly the remains of a Neolithic chambered cairn, but more likely to be a Bronze Age complex including kerb or ring cairns. These very confusing remains are situated at NG 629237, E of Beinn na Caillich mountain (which has a summit cairn) & N of the Broadford River. The remains are currently (March 2021) within a forestry plantation.
